The Deadliest Pandemic Ever Is Here!

Have you not seen this headline in the news or in your morning paper? This is one that should be displayed every day in order to wake up the masses because the greatest pandemic has been here for quite some time and it is very easy to receive your immunization against it!

This disease has existed since the beginning and seems to be spreading as time goes on. This disease is spread via ignorance or just plain rebellion due to people not wanting the free vaccination that will save their lives. This vaccine has only good side effects and will even make you healthier!

What Is This Deadliest Disease?

What sort of disease could this be that’s even worse than the covid? This disease is one that is guaranteed to kill a person. It causes:

  • Liver Damage- By tempting many to drink alcohol
  • Lung Cancer- By introducing cigarettes and vaping
  • Heart Disease- By promoting an unhealthy diet
  • Divorce- By unequally yoking two people
  • Suicide-By not knowing there is help

The list goes on and on about what this disease does to people. I was a victim of this disease myself for most of my life and am very fortunate to still be alive. I have since been vaccinated and couldn’t be happier or healthier! I am living the best life possible on this corrupt earth and for the first time, I am not afraid of my future.

Sin Is The Deadliest Disease On Earth

Sin was introduced in the garden of Eden by the father of lies himself who is Lucifer (Satan, or adversary in the Hebrew) When Lucifer was cast out of Heaven and down to our planet, he made the earth his dominion to rule over. Jesus referred to Satan as the prince of this world:

John 12:31 Now judgment is upon this world; now shall the prince of this world will be cast out. 32: And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Yes, sin is the deadliest pandemic ever and it is killing even more people than the black plague or covid could ever kill!

According to Pew Research Center, the decline of Christianity is alarming. In 2018 and 2019, 65% of American adults described themselves as Christians. This was a 12% decrease over a decade. This is now 2021 and although there has been an increase in curiosity, those who seek answers are being deceived into believing the lies that satan has planted into the minds and hearts of many.

The Lies That Satan Plants

  • Live it up now, enjoy life while you can!
  • You don’t need to go to church, God is everywhere
  • God loves everyone so it is okay to be with whomever you want
  • You’re homosexual? That’s okay, you can still be ordained.
  • Go ahead, have that drink, everything in moderation!
  • Smoke that cigar/cigarette/vape. Nothing in the Bible says it’s a sin.
  • Marijuana is medicinal so it’s okay to get stoned.
  • Why get married? Just live together and save the money and effort.

As you can imagine, there are many more lies. Shall we unpack these and see what The Lord has to say about them? Isn’t it time to know the truth about sin and why so many are on the path to destruction?

Live life while you can: suggests to us that this is it-there is nothing after we die. What does God say?

  • Matthew 24:13 “Be he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved” Let’s look at Matthew 24:10-12: where he speaks of the future:10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Does this describe the times that we live in now? Sure sounds like it. What about going to Church?

  • 1 John 1:7 – But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
  • Matthew 18:20 – For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
  • Psalms 122:1 – (A Song of degrees of David.) I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

God loves everyone, so it’s okay to be with whomever you want. God DOES love everyone, yet:

  • Leviticus 18:22 – Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

So, God loves the sinner yet will always hate the sin and it will never be condoned. All of the answers we seek are in His living word. The Bible is a supernatural book because it was written by God through His chosen prophets. It has the power to change each of us who choose to follow Christ and live in His ways. That is A Christian.

As for the final lifestyle choices on the above list, what does The Lord say about those? Read Romans 12:

1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Our bodies are a temple in which the Holy Spirit resides once we give our lives to Jesus. He transforms us from within to reflect His character. Yet, we go to The Lord as we are, each an unclean sinner who seeks forgiveness and redemption through confession and repentance.

1 John 1:9“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
