The Doctrine Of God

The Seventh Day Adventist Church believes that the Bible is the Holy word of God. Both the new and old testaments are studied and are trusted as a true account of God’s acts in history and future events.

The Lord commissioned men to transcribe His words. Adventists live by the scriptures and teach sola scriptura: by scripture alone. ( 2 Peter 1:21)

Adventists strive to keep all Ten Commandments, and that includes the fourth commandment regarding the Sabbath., which is Saturday. (See Exodus 20. See also Genesis 2:2-3)

The Health Message

Adventists follow God’s health message regarding clean and unclean foods. studies have shown that people who eat a plant-based diet are healthier and live longer.

Adventists do not eat any meat that is deemed unclean in the book of Leviticus, ch. 11. among these meats are pork and any other animal that does not have a cloven hoof and does not chew the cud. Swine will eat anything, even their own kind. Pigs are full of parasites and when ingested can make their way to your brain. (True story)

Seafood is unclean because God made them filters of the oceans and seas. Clams, snails, shrimp, lobster, etc are all bottom feeders. Imagine eating out of your toilet…

Ever wonder why the oceans and seas are becoming so polluted? It’s because people keep catching and eating the filtration system! Disgusting when you really think about it huh! No wonder so many people are sick with gastrointestinal issues and inflammation!

The Three Angels Message

What is this? Does your church teach the 3 Angels message? Most do not, yet it is very important because it is the end-time message that calls all of God’s people to come out of spiritual Babylon. It is found in Revelation 14 and is as follows:

6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

The Second Coming

Once the gospel and this message are shared everywhere in the world, then Jesus will return and those who have followed Him will be caught up in the clouds to live and reign with Him for a thousand years. After that, New Jeruselum will descend back to Earth, which will have been made anew after everything was destroyed at His return.

The Truth About Death

What happens when we die? Do we go to heaven or hell immediately after death? NEITHER! The Bible teaches that we are living souls and when we die, we sleep. The dead know nothing:

Ecclesiastes 9:5 ⁵For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Daniel 12:1-4 (KJV) “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” The Bible never speaks of the dead as being alive in Heaven or Hell! Daniel confirms that those who die sleep in the dust of the earth only to be resurrected in the future.

The Sabbath

Here is one topic of great debate and of great importance, or Satan would not try so hard to make people forget God’s Fourth Commandment! Let me ask you this: how can a church that only preaches Bible truth be a cult? I suggest that you find a local SDA Church near your home and visit it one Sabbath. (Saturday). The Lord led me to my local church 3 years ago and my life has changed for the better. I quit smoking cigarettes after 39 years and stopped using alcohol. Is this a bad thing?
