What is grounding
Grounding, or Earthing as it is sometimes called, is an ancient way for everyone to connect with the energies Earth creates. We can channel them into ourselves for energy and healing.
What types of energy are in grounding
The earth produces electrical charges that can be therapeutic to our bodies. Isn’t our creator wonderful? When we walk barefoot in the cool grass on a warm summer day, we reconnect ourselves to the earth and can benefit in many ways.
The Benefits of Grounding
The studies performed in small groups have shown some promising results. Here are some of my findings: Grounding was shown to be beneficial in the following areas:
- Sleep disturbances are diminished
- Depression/anxiety is alleviated
- Chronic fatigue is diminished
- Chronic pain is improved
- Lowers blood pressure, which improves cardiovascular health
Is grounding Safe?
Activities like wading in shallow water, walking in the grass, or on the beach are safe ways to ground while outdoors. I enjoy laying under a shade tree in the cool grass during the hot summer months.
What About in the Winter?
Grounding in the long cold winter months can be a challenge for me as I live in Northern Minnesota, and that is where some devices come in that can assist me in keeping connected to the earth.
I found a few devices online and one that I recently ordered is a grounding sheet to put on my bed. It will be a new experience for me and one that I am looking forward to writing about, once it arrives and I have had the opportunity to use it for a reasonable period of time.
As you may know, this blog is not only about sharing the gospel. It includes reviews on products and services that I personally have purchased. It is my intention to share my experiences with these items in order to inform you, my readers, so that you can make cost-effective decisions for yourself and your families.
Devices for grounding
There are a variety of devices available. Sandals for outdoor walking, mats for standing indoors and sitting at your desk, sheets, socks, auto seat mats, and blankets. They even have some wearables for your wrists.

Barefoot in my yard
Due to having cellulitis in my left foot some years ago, I must be careful about going barefoot, yet it is hard to resist. It feels so good to kick off my shoes and feel the earth beneath my feet. Have you noticed a renewing of energy after walking around the yard in bare feet?
There is a natural energy source within the earth, and I do not believe it got there by chance.
Connecting with The Ultimate Power Source
If we can connect with the energy of the earth, how about connecting with the very source of this energy? Do you ever wonder if God still speaks to us? I did, but now it is clear to me that He does.
When I became grounded to Jesus my whole life changed. I now have a career that is a joy, my bad, unhealthy habits have been taken away. I look forward to each and every day! Being connected to the ultimate power source has given me a sense of well-being. Well-being that was never present in my life before.
Get Plugged In
It is written that Jesus waits for us to plug into His power and find newness in this life to prepare us for the next. He is coming back soon. How do I know? Because He tells us in His book.
The evidence is all around us and final prophecies are now being fulfilled.
Eight years ago I was still living in darkness, a prisoner in my own life of sin. Once these eyes were opened I felt His love surrounding me and have not looked back. I thank God each and every day for opening my eyes and saving my life!
