Tips On Assembly

It is much easier to have another pair of hands when it comes time to attach the fenders and gear assembly. You will need to hold or prop your bike up to adjust the gear shift assembly because the wheel needs to move and you will need to shift it through the speeds.

In total, this three-wheel bike took close to six hours to fully assemble. It could take less time, it could take more. This one was assembled inside the house and fits through a standard door frame easily. Both the seat and the handlebars are fully adjustable. Did I mention how comfy this seat is?

Pros

  • I love the fact that you are in an upright position when riding.
  • If you need to stop, just stop. No getting off the bike to rest.
  • No worry about balance issues
  • Nice big basket to pack a lunch, carry a pet, or shopping bags from the store

Cons

  • Takes wider corners when turning
  • Does not like soft surfaces, such as sand or mud. Pavement or hard-packed dirt only
  • not a  real space saver in your garage

Overall

I enjoy riding this bike to the store. We have a trail in town that goes around our lake and is a good 2.5 miles of nice scenery, wildlife, and fresh air. It is nice to be able to ride at leisure, stop pedaling and just coast and sit for a minute without balancing and being hunched over as I was on my mountain bike.

It’s nice to be able to stop and not have to lift your feet off the pedals and stand to wait for traffic! I have short legs so it was always a chore for me to hop down and back on again! so if you are looking for a true leisure experience this three-wheel bike is for you too!

I was just thinking back to my childhood over fifty years ago and remember my father taking the training wheels off of my first two-wheeled bike the first day I had it. I don’t recall ever riding a tricycle and here I have one now! It makes me chuckle. This bike even has a bell and what a hoot to ring it! (it is optional to put on, of course, but why not have some fun?)

Add-On Basket

Nostalgic Look

I have since ordered this basket shown here which easily mounts on the front of my bike. I keep my water bottle, a little snack, and my phone handy. I really love the basket in the rear as well because I often bike to the grocery store and this is a wonderful way to stay mobile, get some needed exercise, and save a little gas money too!

So, there you have my honest review on another purchase of mine. This was actually a birthday present for me and I am very happy to have sold my mountain bike and upgraded it to my new leisure bike! Want to read another product review? Check this out: fake fish tank your kids will love!

I recommend this adult three-wheel bike and give it 4.5 stars. Until next time, make each and every day count for something! * This post contains trusted affiliate links.
