Are You Spiritually Fit?
Are you spiritually fit? Being spiritually fit is essential. Even more important than physical fitness because the battles we fight are not physical. Many do not believe in spiritual battles and here is why:
Desensitization Is a Real Thing
Are you unmoved by violent scenes in movies or on television? How about when real-life violence is streamed-is it surreal to you? Is it hard to comprehend or recognize fact from fiction? Society has become desensitized to violence. It is so common that it seems as if it is not only accepted by promoted as well.

Does this sound like the times we live in now? Being 55 years old, I can recall a time when violence and sex on television were censored and the ratings were much different than they are today.
For instance, not all that long ago a rating of PG-13 today would be an R. Can you remember when violence was not such a huge part of the entertainment industry?
This is a small aspect of the spiritual warfare that has been raging since the beginning of creation.
Mass Shootings On The Rise
According to Statista, The number of mass shootings has increased from 1 in 1982 to 12 in 2018. Violence has been on the rise and we the people seem to take this as the “new norm” when it is really a sign of the times and prophecy being fulfilled.
The End of This Age
Jesus’ disciples asked HIm what the sign would be and when the end of the age would take place. This is what He told them:
Matthew 24:7 (KJV)
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Matthew 24:12-14 (KJV) And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Spiritual Warfare Is Real
Did you know that we are surrounded by fallen angels who walk the earth, seeking out the weak and the unbelievers in order to influence them? All temptation is of the adversary. Everything good comes from above. For everything good and pure that God created there is an opposite. That is the natural law of the universe.
Ephesians 6:11-13 (KJV) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Fallen Angels are Real
If you have ever read the Bible then you will know bible truth about the great controversy that began in heaven with Lucifer, who was covering Cherubim. He grew jealous of the worship that God receives from His angels and coveted this and all of God’s power. He wants it all to himself and convinced one-third of the angels that God is unjust and selfish and they rebelled.
Revelation 12:7-10 (KJV)
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels,
And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
