Throughout the years before I even decided to start blogging I have researched many areas of naturopathic ways to regain and remain healthy which I implement into my own life and now it is time to share what I have learned with others.
Despite the misconceptions, I remain adamant regarding herbs and spices in everyday cooking as a means of regaining health and vitality. It all begins in the kitchen folks! It is very true what they say: “You ARE what you eat” The question is: What are you willing to do about it?
If you suffer from chronic fatigue, consider your diet. What do you eat on a regular basis? Do you find yourself at the drive-thru window often? Or how about the frozen food section at your local store? Let’s be honest. Are those so-called healthy frozen meals really healthy? No, they’re just convenient and what do you think happens to the nutrients in those meals if you throw it in the microwave?
Read about the dangers of microwave cooking
There is no doubt in my mind that food structure is severely altered in a microwave and that means most if not all nutritional value is lost as well. I do not use a microwave for more than heating water for a cup of tea if I’m in a rush.
I use my air fryer for a quick lunch if I am home or my gas stove. I use a heated lunch box when I am traveling to various homecare clients to avoid that fast food drive-thru. I honestly practice what I preach, friends.
I have altered my meal plans in order to incorporate special sauces and dips used to help control my husband’s blood sugar levels. He is doing better since I have him on this special protocol that uses fresh herbs and spices combined with whole foods.
I love the taste of these sauces and dips so much that I decided to add them to my own food. I have more energy and just 2 weeks in I noticed my clothes began to fit better. What A plus!
Is it a hassle to eat healthily? Not if you care about how you look and feel. By learning how to plan ahead and purchase the ingredients needed on a weekly basis, getting on track will be a breeze, and that is what I am here to help with.
