A. Are you so sure that you are willing to risk your child’s future?
Each one of us is born with free will. That means we are free to choose what we want to believe. Please don’t keep the Bible away from anyone. Give them the opportunity to decide for themselves what they believe.
As I mentioned earlier, being kept away from Jesus and having HIs words hidden from me made me not only resentful but feeling bitter toward the people in my life while growing up. My life was full of sin and I know it would have been different if only I had grown up knowing Jesus!
A Life Of Regret
Do I regret my entire life? Not all of it. There are no regrets about having my children, but a huge regret about not raising them in a Christian home, because they both are on the wrong path and I feel guilty for not giving them a strong foundation to begin their lives. They never even had an opportunity to choose because I was living in such darkness myself!
Read my testimony and decide if a life with Jesus would have given me the power to ensure the future of my own children. There is nothing worse than having regret. This life I now live is so full of promise that nothing can ever make me return to that road of death and destruction.
Give Your Kids Their Best Chance
If your kids want to learn about Jesus and creation, don’t let them hear any words of discouragement come from you, because if they see your unbelief they will mirror it. Allow them and encourage them to explore, learn and grow.
