Has The Tribulation Started?
Living in the end times, and what it means to be saved or lost is a common topic these days and for a very good reason: Has the tribulation started? Are we living in the end times? I believe we are and so I feel the need to share not my opinion, but what The Lord has to say about these topics according to His word.
Are We Living In The End Times?
How can we know if we are living in the end times? Let’s open the Bible and see what the scriptures have to say. Jesus himself said in Matthew 24:7 That nation would rise against nation, there will be wars and rumors of wars, and earthquakes in various places. Let’s break this verse down into what this means for us because Jesus was speaking to our generation when He was explaining these things to His disciples. Has the tribulation started? Not yet.
Nation Will Rise Against Nation
What does this mean? Are we not seeing civil unrest at this very moment, with riots and chaos in the streets? What does a nation consist of but people from all walks of life? Not only that, but the United States as a nation has turned against others in matters of politics. Does this mean the tribulation started? Not yet.
Wars And Rumors Of Wars
Q: Have we not always had wars and rumors of wars? A: Yes we have, but have these wars and rumors of wars increased in severity over the past decade? Would not these riots all over the world be considered wars in nature? When considered logically, this would be an indication of living in the end times.
Earthquakes In Various Places
Q. Haven’t there always been earthquakes? A. Yes, however, have the earthquakes increased in number and severity? Here is a good site to visit to view earthquake activity
There are earthquakes reported in various places where there have never been any before.
False Prophets
Romans 16:17-18 – Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them”. This describes false teachings within churches that have adopted tradition over Bible doctrine and truth. And Another: 2 Timothy 4:3,4 ”
4 And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

How many websites have you encountered that claim the Bible to be nothing but a book of fables? These are Atheists who are blinded to the truth and may have never even read it. This makes me sad because God is love and loves each of us, not for who we are, but for who we can become if we follow him
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then the end shall come.”
With the speed at which news travels these days with technology, the gospel is going out to the world, into places never before possible. Does it matter if each person turns to The Lord? Although He would like nothing better than to save every person on earth: John 3:16″ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Once the Gospel has been shared with the whole world, that is, every person has had the opportunity to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and walk in newness of life by following Jesus, then the earth as we know it will end at His return.
We Are Living In The End Times
It can be hard to understand time in the way God works because God is eternal. We may feel that these past two thousand years since Jesus walked the earth is a long time but it isn’t to God. Saved Or Lost?
Being a Christian isn’t about which church you attend. Jesus has followers in every denomination and is now calling them out of Babylon to be ready for His return. Being a follower of Christ means we are walking in newness of life. We die and are crucified daily with our Lord. The worldly things that were once enjoyed are put aside as a sacrifice. Our bodies are a living sacrifice: Read 1 Chorinthians 6:19
Our bodies were bought with a price: The blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus. We should glorify Him in all that we do, eat and drink: 1 Corinthians 6:20 | View whole chapter | See verse in contextFor ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Do Not Take The Lords Name In Vain
Those who claim to be Christian yet do not walk in newness of life are taking His name in vain. This saying isn’t meant to curb the use of the Lord’s name in profanity as many believe. Walking In The Newness Of Life
It took me many failed attempts yet with the Lord’s help:1 Corinthians 10:13 | View whole chapter | See verse in contextThere hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” I put alcohol and finally tobacco behind me for good to walk in the newness of life. I no longer feel guilty and can claim the Lord’s name in confidence, knowing I can lead by example.
God’s Promise To All Of His Followers
We all have the promise of God to eternal life! You know, I was not always a Christian. In fact, I lived one of the worst lives imaginable and I am not ashamed to reveal this, because when God finally reached me I had given up hope of ever living a happy life.
