3 Ways To Live Life To The Fullest
Do you live life to the fullest? I mean live life to the fullest in every aspect? Some will wonder what I mean by every aspect when this post is named 3 Ways to Live Life to the fullest. Only 3 ways? Have you seen Live, Laugh, Love scrawled upon pillows or little wooden signs?
Well, I do not mean these 3 ways. How about Eat Drink Be Merry? Not these either. The three ways that this post refers to are: Ask, seek, knock.
ASK And It Shall Be Given
Ask, and it shall, be given you. How is this a way to live life to the fullest? Does this mean we should ask people for everything we want or need? Not at all. This means we should ask our Father in heaven because He provides us with everything we need.
Everything I need is not always everything I want. This is what we learn as we grow in Christ. This also tells me to have faith in knowing that He is always listening and is constantly present in our lives, watching over all that we do. When we pray in the name of Jesus and it coincides with the will of the Father, we can be assured that it will be done in His timing, which is infinitely perfect.
Seek, And Ye Shall Find
Just what do I seek when approaching God, and how do I approach Him? The main answer is reading His word. The Bible contains everything we need to know concerning the plan of salvation and why it needed to be implemented, to begin with.
Jesus can be found in every book of the Bible, including Genesis. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
John 14:6 ” I am the way the truth and the life: No man cometh unto the Father but by Me.”
By seeking Jesus daily, I not only grow closer to God but I also discover what His will is, the plan He has for me. What a relief! I can begin each day knowing that He has my best interests laid out and all that needs to be done is to follow Him.
Knock, And It Shall Be Opened Unto You
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? (Matthew7:8-10 KJV)
Knock on His door and be assured that you will never be turned away. To me, His door is prayer and His home is the Bible. We must enter it daily, and commune with Him as our first parents did in the garden before their fall into sin. The only way to know the Father is through the Son, Jesus. And to know Him you must read His word.
There was a time when reading the Bible seemed to be more of a burdensome task. Once a daily routine is established it is something to look forward to because each day is new and one could read a scripture several times over a year and it can take on a whole new meaning, depending on how He wants you to hear it. The Bible is a supernatural book. It will change you from the inside and open your eyes to a whole new world of understanding.
I say Live for Jesus, Laugh at the despair of the world, Love what He has in store for those who love Him.
John 14: 12-18
12)Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13)And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14)If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15) If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16)And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17)Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18)I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
May the Holy Spirit guide you into greater understanding and the desire to ask, seek, and knock each day so His blessings can be spilled onto you. Amen. Please watch the following video:
