Hi friends! Thanks for stopping by! Today I am sharing a review of this tranquility brand weighted blanket I purchased a few months ago. As you may know, any review that is posted on this blog will be an honest review. I do NOT post products or services simply to earn a few pennies! Thank you.
This Tranquility weighted blanket seen below is not the actual weight that I purchased. Mine weighs 15 pounds. The heftiness of your weighted blanket will depend on your own weight. I believe the 20 lb blanket is appropriate for anyone who weighs over 175 lbs OR wants a heavier blanket.
NOT For Use With Children
Never use an adult weighted blanket on a child or anyone who suffers from mobility issues! Also, do not use a heating pad or heated blanket with this product as burns can occur.
There are blankets for children, and I have included links to these as well. Since purchasing my tranquility blanket the amount of rested sleep I have has increased significantly and falling asleep has become easier as well. I look forward to relaxing each night with this blanket draped over me.
One feature that they claim is a cooling side of the blanket. It is made with tiny glass beads and therefore feels cool at first but will not stay cool indefinitely. That being noted, this product receives 4 stars from me.
Eases Restless Legs
This blanket can help with restless legs, which I have found to be true in my own experience. Simply draping the blanket over your lap feels wonderful after a long day on your feet.
Care instructions
Remove the cover and wash as instructed. There are ties to keep the blanket secure. Simple! I really do like this product and plan to upgrade in the future. If you enjoy a snuggle as you drift off to sleep, a weighted blanket is just what you need to keep yourself in dreamland!
