On this new day, I am reviewing a recent purchase. I have spent the last few days wearing these boots to not only get a feel for them but pass on my review to you.
Warmth
These boots are warm indeed. Living in Northern Minnesota and traveling for work each day, warmth is at the top of my list. On these particular days while reviewing, the temperature has been in the upper 40’s-low fifties and I was wearing thinner socks. I wear a size 6. Once the colder temps arrive, a thicker sock will be worn and these boots have room for added layers. I love that my shins are covered. At my age cold shins bother me. If not wearing these boots I will be wearing a pair of thick leg warmers I crocheted. (In my opinion, warmth never goes out of style!)
Comfort
These boots are very comfortable. Not too heavy. At my age I do not enjoy wearing a pair of bar bells to drag around. I do have a pair of ankle weights I will strap on occasionally around the house or when on a short stroll, but that’s fitness and serves a different purpose.
Traction
The sole is well made. I feel as if they will have some good traction in the snow. Once the white stuff begins to fall and it looks like any day now, I will update this post to let you know if I can walk with confidence this winter instead of gingerly picking my way to the garage.
Style
Being an animal lover, bothe cats and dogs and just about everything in between, I love the style of these boots, which brings me to where I got them. The animal rescue site/greater good stores. With each purchase you are helping to feed a shelter animal. So, if you’re going to shop, why not do some good at the same time? I have different items from this site and am never disappointed with my purchase. You can view another item I purchased by clicking HERE
Until next time, make each and every new day count for something!
